Consumer Directed Services
The CDS program allows for family members to assist family members with their every day needs such as bathing, grooming, cleaning, and more! In the CDS program YOU are the employer! Shea Home Care works for you and assists in payroll, taxes, background checks as well as communication with the state regarding your plan of care!
Major difference in this service is it can be done by family member. Qualifications must be able to self direct aid must be 18 years old and must be able to pass a background and drug test. Must be able to work in the United States.
In-Home Care Services
In-Home Services while similar to the CDS program does not allow a family member to be your caregiver. This program provides home and community based services to elderly and disabled who meet nursing home level of care and are eligble for medicaid. Idalia Blue's Home Health will hire and train a qualified candidate to work in your home helping with your daily activities in accordance to your plan of care provided by the State of Missouri.
Private Duty/Private Pay
If you or your loved ones are not eligbile for any of our medicaid programs or you desire more care than what is approved by the state, Idalia Blue Home Health provide private duty care.
Services Offered:
- Covers a variety of services based on individual needs
- No limit on amount or duration of time in the home (determined by the patient and/or family)
- No criteria needed to obtain care (determined by patient and/or family needs)
- No Physician order needed for aide giving personal care , respite or companion care
Palliative Care/Hospice
Palliative Care (pronounced pal-lee-uh-tiv) is specialized medical care for people with serious illness. This type of care is focused on providing relief from the symptoms and stress of a serious illness. The goal is to improve quality of life for both the patient and the family.
Palliative care is provided by a specially-trained team of doctors, nurses and other specialists who work together with a patient’s other doctors to provide an extra layer of support. It is appropriate at any age and at any stage in a serious illness, and it can be provided along with curative treatment.
